Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the BowlSense mobile application ("App") operated by BowlSense ("we", "our", "us"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the App

BowlSense is a bowling analytics and scoring application. You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes to track your bowling performance, manage your ball collection, and analyze your game statistics.

2. Account

You must sign in with Apple or Google to use BowlSense. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

3. Subscriptions

BowlSense offers optional paid subscriptions for premium features including Apple Watch motion capture.

• Subscriptions are billed monthly through your Apple ID account.
• Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods.

4. Your Data

You retain ownership of all bowling data you enter into the App, including game scores, throw data, and preferences. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display this data to provide the service to you.

If you opt in to anonymous data sharing, you grant us permission to use anonymized, aggregated versions of your throw data for community analytics. This data cannot be traced back to you.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Interfere with the proper operation of the App
• Use automated systems to access the App in a manner that exceeds reasonable use

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted. Bowling analytics, speed measurements, and motion analysis are estimates and should not be relied upon for professional or competitive purposes without independent verification.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BowlSense shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Apple EULA

Your use of the App is also subject to the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of material changes through the App.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases, but provisions that should survive termination (including limitations of liability) will remain in effect.
