Speed Check

Measure bowling speed and rev rate from video.

Use a local bowling clip to mark the foul line, pin impact, and visible ball rotations. The browser tool does not upload your video.

Record from a stable side or rear angle with the foul line, lane, and pins visible. Load the clip and identify the first frame where the ball crosses the chosen lane landmarks. BowlSense calculates speed from the known distance and elapsed video time.

For rev rate, follow a visible logo, tape mark, or bright spot on the bowling ball. Confirm whether the clip uses normal playback or slow motion, because an incorrect frame-rate assumption changes the result. Repeat several ordinary shots and compare the range instead of treating one throw as a permanent label.

Speed at release and speed near the pins are not the same measurement. Bowling balls normally slow down as they travel. The analyzer labels each interval and keeps the video local in the browser so the estimate can be reviewed without uploading the clip.
